Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate has been distilling rum for almost three centuries in the Trelawny Parish, historically known as the grand cru of Jamaican rum. In 2009, Hampden Estate started to age its Pure Single Rums, opening a new era in the world of spirits. Produced with. Unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century, Hampden Estate has a distinct and iconic aromatic profile. This is in great part due to an extremely high level of esters achieved by a very long and complex process. The rum has been aged for 8 years in the tropical Jamaican climate, equivalent to almost 25 years of maturation in the European climate. Excellent for sipping and mixology.
